(and a bit of TNA but im only there for the Hardys + PCO rn)
tho i'll watch any promo as long as the wrestlers look interesting! -- this is ur invitation to tell me to watch whatevr smaller shows u do :)

when did i start watching?

ive been watching WWE since the 2024 Royal Rumble so im still really new to the community but im having SO much fun tuning in every week and watching the story lines develop. since then ive slowly been branching out into watching other promotions but the only other one i semi-keep up with is AEW.

i started watching AEW with the 2024 Double or Nothing :) im not as invested in that yet (obviously) so dont expect AEW mentioned a whole lot on this page unless theyre a former WWE wrestler lolol. that'll probably change tho bc the roster there is growing on me quickly :3

okay so we know when. but why?

HONESTLY? i saw a gifset on tumblr of CM Punk and MJF's dog collar match and thought Punk looked sooooo pretty (still do). then i just kept seeing Punk on my dashboard and decided to FINALLY look into his career and saw that he would be part of the 2024 Rumble! it felt like a good chance to jump into the action since it was the first PPV that happened post me seeing the gifs LMAO. plus me having a Peacock account made *that* a lot easier than trying to hunt down a way to watch RAW/SmackDown since like most ppl nowadays i aint got cable.

im honestly glad that i started w a Rumble tho! it def made it easier to just pick out a bunch of wrestlers to look into rather than having to learn about them as they became relevant in whatever storyline that was the focus of the week

LITTLE WRESTLING LOVE LETTER 🎔

i know ive started watching way after the more "iconic" eras of WWE and most guys my age have nostalgia for being a wrestling fan rather than just now becoming one - but i am SO glad i started watching when i did. WM40 was amazing and watching the journey from the Rumble to then was so so fun. i obviously am kicking myself for not watching sooner but its better late than never!!

but yk whats better than good story telling? enjoying that story telling with people you LOVE!!! WHICH IS WHAT I GET TO DO :) my younger sister has been watching with me ever since i started and its GREAT to be able to bond with her over wrestling. me and her being annoying about it made our brother + bro in law start watching WWE too and it makes me SO happy that we all get to experience it together :3 do u know how hard it is to find something four people all, not only tolerate, but enjoy ToT

all that gushy stuff aside, i never realized how much of the *other* things i like have ties to wrestling in one way or another. mostly just the artists/creators being fans but still!! thats so cool! ive been able to appreciate art that i already love in new ways because of that :3 -- ive never been into something THIS popular before so its crazy to me how its just like. ingrained into every ounce of pop culture that i like. im loving it!

shout out to the world of professional wrestling. shits cool as hell and brings me so much joy always and im sure it will for years to come ♥

the wrestlers listed here are ones that id consider some of my top favs, that are currently doing shit! (uh... kinda.) it ranges from "putting my phone down while theyre wrestling" to "i want to chew on them" which ones are which is for me to know and for u to find out (^___^)

yeah if u couldnt tell by the DX theme of the page - im just as much into older WWE/F as i am the current stuff! (hell im probably *more* into the older eras) theres a lot of past wrestlers/gimmicks i wish i couldve seen live and this list is a small collection of those :} if uve already looked at the "active" tab. im chewing on a lot of these guys aswell LOLOL (the "years active" slots are *not* career spanning unless their entry also has an "AKA" slot)

AND IT WAS SICK AS HELL! im making my way thru his first memoir - Have a Nice Day - right now and its only furthered my love and respect for him as not only a wrestler but as a human being :)

his Hell in a Cell match with Taker was the first WWF era thing that i watched and despite knowing the aftermath i was SOOO scared the entire time LOL but it totally got me hooked on his matches! that being said, my favorite character of his is def Mankind :3 ♥ im a sucker for weird little freaks

this is about the Goldust character! ik Dustin is still wrestling, he's on the "active" list lolol
im gonna be soooo real, i only really care about the original run ('95-'99) where he was absolutely freaky with it. i mean - i like his teaming with Booker and Golden Truth not to mention his run with Stardust. but nothing will ever top (lol) Goldust just being a huge flirtatious fag. its the cunt of it all..... the glitter falling during his entrance.... Marlena (his manager) watching him at ringside smoking huge cigars.... they way he talked with such elegance... dude i could go on and on about how much i am in love with his stage (ring?) presences
